I've been asked so many times what kinesiology is. It seems to
be a simple question but then: why is it so complicated to give a proper answer?
Why is it just like trying to explain all the colours to a
blind man?
Because the simplest term is: this word is an abstraction.
Abstraction, or collective category, like medicine or education, which we 've
already got and are used to. So what do doctors and teachers have in common?
The sameness of their purpose and the similarity of their methods in every
speciality.
After all: Which methods is kinesiology based on? What do
kinesiologists or different kinesiology branches have in common? What is the
purpose and the standard and essential method of kinesiology? What are its
different fields of kinesiology or how many branches do kinesiology have?
The purpose of kinesiology is to restore and raise people's
physical/energetic-psychic/emotional-mental/intellectual harmony and balance,
to increase stress tolerance, to improve stress managemant, to decrease stress
reactions, to recover from traumas of the past, to solve energetic, emotional
and mental blocks, to dissolve allergies, dependencies, dyslexia, to help
problem solving and to develop various abilities, restore and ameliorate
learning abilities -not only for school but everyday life!
